School Groups
Fairburn Activity Centre has always been a regular venue with Primary and Secondary school groups, locally and further afield, who return year after year on residential activity weeks and one day activity trips.
Offering en-suite, twin bedrooms (with a maximum of three youngsters in some of the rooms) the Fairburn accommodation proves very popular and a welcome change from dormitory facilities offered at other centres.
In addition to the day time activities programme for residential school groups, Fairburn recently introduced an evening programme. These sessions include John Muir Award based activities, a karaoke night, and various field games. In keeping with Scotland's "Homecoming" theme this year, we are offering schools a mini highland games activity. Also, new for this year is the opportunity to have an evening singsong at our purpose built camp fire circle in the woods.
Residential Package
Monday - Friday
4 nights - £300 per person
3 nights - £255 per person
One teacher/adult free with every 10 young people.
Minimum group size of 10 to receive advertised group rates.
Maximum capacity - 30 young people plus 3 adults.(Adults single occupancy)
No chores or duties just pure fun.
Arrive for lunch Monday and leave after breakfast on Friday.
The package price includes:
Overnight accommodation and continental breakfast in twin/triple rooms with en-suite Jacuzzi bath and shower.
Snack lunch: (or packed lunch if off site) on Monday - Thursday
2 course evening meal: Monday - Thursday
Activity sessions: - Monday afternoon, Tuesday- Thursday morning and afternoon.
Plus 4 evening activity sessions if required.
